The Financial Management major prepares the students for various careers in financial management as well as in related fields, including, but not limited to, corporate, finance,
investment management, banking, credit, trust operations, insurance, foreign currency markets, money markets, capital markets, and other financial securities markets. The program provides the students with knowledge on financial institutions and technical skills based on established financial theories, methodologies, and various analytical tools.
By specializing in Business Analytics, students will develop skills and gain knowledge in the application of data and information that can be used by the industry for operational optimization, effective decision-making and competitive advantages.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management and Business Analytics are able to:
– Analyze business situations to provide solution or forecast possible future business or financial scenarios
– Examine and analyze data that would provide a competitive basis for financial decision making.
– Apply computing tools to create reports and data visualization to clearly present business or financial status and projections.
– Design business processes and analyze systems geared towards automating and optimizing financial-based systems.
