SHS STUDENT, FINALIST OF PEACE ESSAY WRITING CONTEST

FEU Diliman Senior High School student John Paul Rosete is one of the finalists for this year’s Angel C. Palanca Peace Awards’ 2019 Essay Writing Competition. Rosete is a Grade 11 student taking up Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). 

This year’s theme is “2019: Year of the Youth The Role of Millennial in Building Peaceful, Sustainable and Dignified Future.” 

Here is an excerpt from his piece, entitled, “Peaceful, Sustainable, and Dignified: The Inevitable future of Millennials”

The millennials are a major factor in the change that world currently needs. The role of the youth is to become more of themselves, more on what they can be, and persevere through hardships. Pushing towards a world that is peaceful, sustainable and dignified, millennials are inevitable to be the modern heroes that our land needs. Nonetheless, whatever comes our way: be brave, charge!
